Fathers Against Drug Dealers

Some One Must Stand

How should I start this page. Should I paste images of my beautiful son? Tell you how wonderful he was in his youth? Should I recount the accomplishments, the strength and bravery that swelled my heart with pride. And then having done that and convinced you all of the depth and degree of my loss, his loss….the worlds loss; then bring out the collage of memories of my second beautiful son…how sweet and gentle…loving and intelligent. The apple of his mothers eye. Should I tell you of his childhood dreams of the man he hoped to be? No…I will not, for neither are more precious than your own child. So grievous and deep is my pain that I cannot dwell upon the past. That is not what this is about.

My sons dwell now in the world of the undead. Trapped and impoverished by the drug dealers who use them and exploited by a legal system that keeps them forever in a twilight existence of fines, court appearances, imprisonment, release on probation to a society that will not hire them for any but the lowest kind of employment that inevitably leads to not being able to pay rent, fines, and the drug dealer… so warrants are issued and they will flee, perhaps financing their flight with petty thefts or other means that merely add to the fines tacked on when they are picked up and then released again. There are more than a million young Americans held in thrall by the deplorable and corrupt justice system. But it is only a link in the chains that enslaves my children and perhaps the least to blame as it is blind to all but the balance of crime and punishment.

The weakest link in the chain that enslaves our children is the drug dealer. He is not blind. When he hands heroin to a child he knows what he is doing. He knows what will eventually happen to that person. And though he may destroy utterly a persons life, their hopes and dreams, their chances and their future….and though he condemns a child to a fate worse than death. None will call it murder. And he knows that too.

But that is changed today. It is changed because WE will call it murder. We will go to trials and give victim impact statements to judges and juries. We will confront the drug dealers on their street corners. We will speak at schools and churches and to anyone who will listen. The Drug Dealer Is A MURDERER! Let us shout it from the rooftops and write in in graffiti, put it on T-shirts and bumper stickers. And here at this site we will build an army of Fathers who will stand idly by no longer. Will you not join me? Help me break the chains so that hope…long a forgotten word…can be rekindled. Please become a charter member of Fathers Against Drug Dealers. Help me build this website and spread this movement. It’s time for the Fathers to unite and take a stand.

I feel sorry for your loss. The drugs are “out there” due to greedy corruption, and I think you’re probably well aware of where the majority of those types reside. (hint, it’s in the capitol buildings, and in the financial sectors of major cities)

The number of imprisoned persons in the USA are way more than you’ve posted. As a father with plenty of life experiences to draw on, I can honestly say that if there were more opportunities and far less greed we wouldn’t have near the problems with drugs, regardless of the availability.

    Peace.

  2. Administrator says:

There are plenty of villains out there, certainly… but to many the buying and selling of substances is just commerce. The poppy farmers in Afghanistan sell their raw opium, not to our children but to high officials, people so high up that they can order our troops not to damage these plants even though our military leaders know where that opium is going and the effect it’s been having here. If you feel you have the answer to the problem then fine, I encourage you to pursue it.

But do not excuse the drug dealer. He is the one who handed that first free dose to your child (though you say you’re a father I doubt you are the father of an addict.) This website is intended to organize and mobilize fathers who are fed up with the “war on drugs”. Men who are ready to take to the streets and put a stop to the drug dealers.

The attempt to shift blame away from the retail drug dealer has kept this vile business thriving for generations. The police and D.A.’s will let these people walk in exchange for “co-operation” as though there are others more culpable. Get this straight….

    Dear Rick

My son is also an addict that had a bright future and was the sweetest kid around. He is 25 and has been to at least 4 to 5 rehabs. My story is heartbreaking just like your sons. Please go to google and type in PAUL xxxxx ADDICT.You will see the title that says Paul xxxxx the Program click on the site. This monster of a man started my son on oxycontin(heroine)He goes into schools and says he is a recovering addict which is all a lie.He is a professional conman and pyschopath and drug dealer as well.I have tried to stop him from still going into schools hurting other kids like he did mine. He also took us for twenty thousand dollars as a con saying he would help our son stay clean. We went to court in Feb of this year and he got off on all charges (14 of them) with non-sufficent evidence. He has this place called Target hosting his website and we have told them about him but they continue to support his cause. He also had Rotary International supporting him at one time until I told them about what he was doing and they dropped him immdeiately.I have such a strong hate for dealers that I have chased more than a few and what goes around comes around. They are the scum of the earth. My beautiful boy like your sons life is always in limbo. We do need to have more exposure but sometimes the police turn a blind eye and they just get a slap on the wrist. This man is always looking over his shoulder which he should be.But he is still going into schools telling his lies and deceptions.By the way I am a MOTHER against drug dealers which can be even stronger because we have a natural instinct to protect our kids. This man Paul xxxx is a monster and will just keep pulling other kids into his web.We live in Canada in
    Niagara falls ontario. Joanne

    Dear Joanne,

I know about the mothers instinct to protect children, and certainly I invite you to join our organization…we exclude no one and are glad to get what members we can. The battle ahead of us will take many dedicated people. If you would be willing to tell your story before a church group, a civic club, or government hearing. If you could participate in award ceremonies for those who arrest, convict, and give appropriate sentences to drug dealers, or if you could help identify, track, and gather evidence against drug dealers….now is the time to link hands and organize. We need you.

This man you speak of…this Paul xxxxx…would your son give testimony? In your court case against him, was your son suing him for damages? Has any men gone to visit this fellow? A group of concerned fathers can sometimes work wonders, in fact, that’s the idea behind our group. If you would like more info about joining FADD please email me… Rick@FathersAgainstDrugDealers.com

  5. I know the story of Paul xxxxx..My husband speaks in schools against drugs, and I will take calls on the phone and meet those in need. The fact that he would ask for money..(cash) would be a red flag. Con men come in all forms..have met lots of them, but this has to be one of the lowest forms. Lives are at risk here, not just money. Spreading the word and stopping him requires a team and i am here if needed. Reaching the school boards is not difficult..and i am more than pleased to do what i can.

  6. Administrator says:

I’m heartened by your words and your courage Joanne. I hope you and your husband will join me. This site is a cheap one but I plan on buying a v-bulletin format & that will insure our future growth. I have not submitted this site to the search engines but want to wait until I have the new format installed. Other than a rant on Craigslist I haven’t started promotion. I am a working person and have limited free time but retirement is approaching and I will do this work full time then. Also, I am not wealthy. My darling wife, who was a career nurse, suffered a heart attack at work in May and is now retired on disability. The loss of her income was a severe setback.

When I get the new format established would you consider moderating and contributing to a forum devoted to scams & school boards? Perhaps your husband could outline the presentation he gives at schools. I think you emailed your contact info to me so I’ll send you a membership application. There will be no dues…only courage, determination, and the desire to fight the drug dealers. You’ve already demonstrated these.

  7. Paul xxxxx says:

First of all i would like all readers to think about this,

    # 1,An addict will never get clean if they or there parents blame the addiction on someone else,

#2 After six years and hundreds of thousands of kids i have come in contact with why is just one claiming this ridiculous blame on me,Maybe while i was sleeping i tied this man down, who by the way was kicked out of five rehabs befor ever meeting me, and injected him with heroin for lets say thirty days, I do believe some parents hide there own failure behind others. perhaps readers should find out why after twenty minutes on the stand comitting purgery after purgery the trial was stopped and i was offered twelve months probation with no terms due to the lies under oath from witness # one,Perhaps the readers would like to contact myself and i would be happy to let you talk with my son and he can tell you what a real monster is,and after being caught in my home this man was ejected very fast,It would be wise to take responsibility for our own lives.

Administrator- I have no interest in becoming involved in a dispute between persons I do not know. In fact I will go back & edit your name out of any previous posts since I would never want an innocent person to be accused of such a low and vile act as providing heroin to a child. Your innocence or guilt is up to the judicial system to determine and not me.
My only interest in your post is in statement #1….
” # 1,An addict will never get clean if they or there parents blame the addiction on someone else,” To me you are saying a stab victim will not heal if they blame the person who stabbed them.

There are two different issues here…. #1.Punishing the pusher….#2. healing the victim. You may be focusing on #2 and that is great, I wish you luck and you will need it. But this organization is focused on #1. We want the death penalty for anyone who gives heroin to a child under 18! and a life sentence for anyone selling heroin to an adult. We want to organize, publicize, and politicize our cause. And we will not allow to go unchallenged the idiocy of your statement #1.

    Mr. Lockett,
First, let me tell you how sorry I am for your situation.
I do not know what it feels like to have a son on drugs,
alcohol, smoking, etc.. But I do know the pain of being
the person that was on this “crap”. I am writing to let those,
(the dealers), who would think that the entrapment of the user
is in their greedy, sweaty, smoke and alcohol scented hands,
…dead wrong. Their day is coming, it will hit them like a brick
in the head for what they have done. I was 7 years young when
a “friend” introduced me to “crap” (in my view all drugs, alcohol,
cigarettes, etc. are “crap” and are of 0 worth to our society); I
went no place but downhill for 20 years, I am 45 now.
I was a lucky one and made it away from “crap” myself.
Because of what I went through, I have been able to
let my son who is 15, and his friends know the bad side to this “crap”,
and the type of “people” who with all intents and purpose in heart
would “deal” to them. I have seen my friends die one by one
because of this “crap”. Luckily, my past mistakes have rubbed off
on my son and his friends and they are “crap” free. I do not
know if anything that I have mentioned here has been of a
help or a hindrance, hopefully a help. I do not speak much of my
past because I am very regretful of the people I have
hurt along the way. I am behind you and your efforts 110%, and
I commend you for what you are doing…..thank you.

If you care, then join us. You have a drug free 15 year old but it will only take a heroin dealer one evening to change that. Actually I have three sons and my youngest is 23 and doesn’t smoke. drink, or use drugs. Seeing the pathetic existence his older brothers have endured for the past 10 years may have had some therapeutic effect.

I finally have the money saved up to get the better web page and should have the new look within a week. We will be open to the search engines and starting our programs. Join us please…. email Rick@fathersagainstdrugdealers.com

  10. Joanne says:

Hi Rick …I applaud you on your crusade against drug dealers. I have 2 children now, and have stressed the fact to them, that, if they stay away from drugs, they will make sound choices in their lives. Both are past teenage years now and are doing well. My husband (I am his second wife) was not as fortunate with his sons. He lost 3 as a result of drugs, as well as his first wife. Two of them within 4 days of each other. We have been helping addicts since 1996, all across the county. We have also been invited into the U.S. to give talks.
I understand you edited my previous post, which is understandable. What I do not understand however is how can we enlighten our youth as to the evils of drugs when the speaker himself is on methadone.
I was a R.N for 25 yrs and worked in Rehab facilities, and our aim is to get ppl to be clean and sober…period. I am not a believer in the methadone program, but that is another issue. I see you have another website up soon..Are you going to include a donations button so others can help you maintain it? It may be something to think about. How can we help you with your cause? Please keep it going as there is strength in numbers. God Bless you and your family.

  11. Administrator says:

Yes I hope to have a new forum shortly. I did edit a persons name out of your post…

The fact is I could list the names of a thousand people convicted of selling heroin right here in my own state. Although that may be something we will do in the future (along with current addresses), it is not what I’m about in the beginning of the campaign.

I want to start by raising public awareness of the need to increase penalties for heroin trafficking through various means…. Telling stories like yours & mine to civic and religious organizations so that they quit blaming the addict and begin to see addicts as the victims of criminals like anyone who has had something precious stolen from them. Something they can never really recover…like lost hopes, and vanished dreams.

I want our members to testify at every government hearing concerning the “war on drugs” to help stop the war on addicts and promote stiffer penalties for heroin dealers.

I want our members to be presenting awards to prosecutors who refuse to offer deals or plea bargains to heroin dealers and seek the harshest penalties the law will allow. We need to recognize brave policemen who work to arrest heroin dealers…and we need to praise judges who recognize the harm heroin dealers do and set sentences accordingly. In short we need to do what isn’t being done by any other group including encouraging victims to pursue civil lawsuits against those who are convicted of heroin trafficking.

There is much more. We are just beginning. We will make a difference.

I am a mother of a herion addict for the past 5 years. He started at the age of 16 and has been in rehab five times. I applaud you for your
efforts to have drug dealers brought up on charges of murder. Our physician are required to attend 8 years of schooling and carry costly
malpractice insurance in order to dispense drugs. However drug dealers
are allowed to dispense drugs that are not FDA approved and when someone dies they are given plea bargains and deals. They need to pay
a heavy penalty for selling to a child under 21. Yes I said 21 because I found boys mature later and a 19-20 year still doesn’t have the emotional maturity to make sound decisions on certain levels in their lives.
God bless you for you efforts.

  13. Administrator says:

I am inspired by the group MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVERS and have seen the difference that group has made in the laws & public attitudes concerning driving while intoxicated. They can never bring back those whose lives were taken by drunk drivers…the losses of countless families can never be recovered or justified.

Bit what MADD has achieved are the saved lives who live and walk among us but who would have been victims had MADD never stood up and did something about it.

Your son & mine will never know life as we know it. Any recovery will be partial and probably temporary. The only hope FADD can have is that we will change the system…that we might save other children and families from the tortured existence we must witness our children endure…and that we do not endure this without a fight against the perpetrators of this outrage. That we do not go quietly into the night.
